A loan of $6,250 helped to pay for biodigesters for resale.

Shukrani's story

Shukrani is making his family and community at large "proud of his success" in biodigester business. He is half-way in clearing the previous loan and wants to take more steps. Now, Shukrani wants to install ten biodigesters to households that are able to pay him through his microcredit project. TAHUDE Foundation is confident in Shukrani's performance based on his previous due diligence. We hope the success of Shukrani’s initiative will reduce the community’s dependence on depleting firewood and trees, and will consequently help in environmental conservation. Biodigesters will also provide organic fertilizer for the households - another big plus to their agriculture and economy.
