Jose Victorino's story

José is married and lives with his wife who is 48 years old and his 11 year old daughter. He is the pillar of the family. He has to provide what is needed in his household. One way he generates income is working at growing basic grains. He also makes hammocks, canvas bags, etc. He learned his agriculture from his father, while his wife taught him rope work. He has no fixed schedule.

He is requesting capital to buy insecticide, fertilizer, pesticide, manure and seeds to prepare the earth and protect his corn from infestation. He hopes for good results from the investment so he can fulfill his payments on his loan. The photo was taken while he was making a hammock.
