A loan of $950 helped to plant beans.

Ginna's story

Ginna is 34. She is married and lives with her husband and son who is her highest priority. She wants to use this loan to buy fertilizers and other products to apply to her bean crops so they can grow stronger, and, also to hire some help to work on soil conservation to prevent erosion mainly by rain and to apply those fertilizers and assist her during the planting process, so she can be sure she is going a good job. She aims to take advantage of good weather and soil conditions in her area ideal for this crop, and also to use her many years of experience in handling basic grains. Also, she wants to be able to buy the best quality products for planting that will have a good development and health as well as an adequate harvest, and have a significant short-term production. She hopes to use the earnings from this harvest to cover family and school expenses and to meet some family goals as well as to continue investing in more crops. This is her first loan received from FUDECOSUR. She had't had loans from any other state banks, but FUDECOSUR gave her this loan without problems and at a very low rate.
