A loan of $2,400 helped a member to buy an iron and a sewing machine.

Amira's Group's story

Amira is a member of this group from Iraq. Amira is a 37-year-old divorced mother of three children. Amira started her sewing business four years ago with an old sewing machine to generate enough income to feed her child and not reach out to others for support.

She is requesting this (Qard Hassan) loan that Izdiharona provides for divorced and widow women to buy an iron and a sewing machine to help her increase her income. She aims to open big place for her business and create jobs for other women.

The story of Amira and her business is just one of the many examples of Izdiharona for economic development clients. They preferred to blur their face for cultural reasons.
