A loan of $200 helped to buy merchandise for her shoe sales business.

Rosa Cecilia's story

Rosa is an enterprising woman. She is 23 years old and single. She lives in Cañete with her family.

She is a single mother, so only she is looking out for her little child's wellbeing. However, with a great deal of effort, she has figured out how to get ahead in order to be able to offer her child a better future.

For several years, she has worked selling shoes. This is going very well for her because she is very responsible, hardworking, and dedicated to her work. Rosa is grateful to the Kiva lenders; with the support they have provided, she will be able to buy merchandise to carry out her shoe sales business. This way, her sales will increase and she will continue working toward having her "own shop."
