A loan of $700 helped to purchase fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and seed.

Francisco's story

Francisco, along with his life-partner, is responsible for supplying his family with that which is necessary to cover its basic needs. They both live in the company of their children who are 25, 23, 18, 15, and 10 years old. His economic activities are breeding pork and livestock. He also cultivates basic grains. These are trades that he learned as part of his family. His main advantage is that he owns properties on which he can develop these activities.

He will use the loan to invest in the purchase of fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and seed to sow two hectares of corn. He hopes to have an abundant harvest with which he is thinking of supplying his home and selling the other part to improve his living situation.

His greatest dreams are to maintain the support of his children so that they finish their studies, and to provide better food, clothing, and health to them.
