A loan of $750 helped to buy farm inputs.

Faith's story

Greetings from Muranga, Kenya! Faith is a 34-year-old charming mother of three who has been farming for seven years. Her primary sources of income are eggs, tea, crops and transportation services that she provides to supplement her farming income. Faith practices small-scale farming because land is a major problem in the area where. Hence the need to do mixed farming.

Through hard work on her farm, Faith has been able to take care of her family and even take her kids to school and give them the basic needs. She is kindly requesting a loan of 65,000 KES to purchase farm inputs and increase her banana and sweet potato plantations.

One of the major challenges Faith faces is the high cost of living. The projects that she will start with this loan will enable her to increase her profits and income levels. Increased profit levels mean more money and hence better living conditions for Faith and her family.

Faith dreams of developing her business into a large enterprise that will supply bananas and potatoes to different parts of the country. Through this work, Faith will be able to get out of the poverty bracket and create more wealth for her family and others.
