Maria Magdalena's story

María Magdalena is 51 years old. She lives with her children in the Cayaltí district, a quiet community with a happy, hard working population that sustains itself through farming, commerce and raising livestock. It is located in the Chiclayo province belonging to the Lambayeque region on the north coast of Peru.
She makes a living by raising and selling small animals like ducks, hens and turkeys. Her business is located behind her house, additionally she also has a plot of sugar cane.
She has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for 2,500 Nuevos Soles to purchase small animals to fatten and eventually offer them to her clients, generating increased incomes for her family.
