Ndama's Group's story

This 26-member group belongs to the banc villageois which was created on 22nd October 2012. This banc groups together members who live in the same village and members who live in the surrounding areas. Most of these women work in retail and raising livestock. They all work together harmoniously.

Ndeye, the woman standing to the right of the photo with her hand raised, is 37 years old. She is a married mother to eight children.

With this loan, she is planning on selling fish and peanuts during the winter seasons. She plans on purchasing 100 kg of peants at 400FCFA/kg for the seeds. She will also purchase 30,000 FCFA's worth of fish per day, which will give her a profit of 10,000 FCFA per day. This will allow her to support her husband in providing for their family.
