Maa Dumerdeo Shg Group's story

These members belong to the Maa Dumerdeo Self Help Group. One of them is Bisakha, age 48, (the lady seated first from the left in the sky blue saree). She has a spouse and two children.

She alternates her daily activities with a business of selling rice, grams, spices, wafers, hair oil and other household consumables. She runs a small shop where she sells all these things to support her family. She has been in this business for a good amount of time, and she does well, thanks to the daily effort she puts into her business. She also sells vegetables in her shop.

She requested with her group for the loan, of which she will use her portion to buy sugar, rice, edible oil, soap, detergents and other household consumables for her business. She thanks those who share her dream by this means and commits to make her payments as scheduled.

The businesses of the other group members are butcher shop, dairy farm, and a tailoring shop.
