A loan of $2,025 helped to stock up on merchandise (perfume, cosmetics, children’s toys, souvenirs, rugs etc.) and buy equipment for her store.

Sham'igul's story

Sham’igul is 45 years old and plans to launch her own sales business. She was born in the border region of Jilikul. She still lives there with her two grown sons. She has raised her sons on her own, without a husband. At present Sham’igul has used her savings to build a two-floor store next to her house. She plans to sell miscellaneous items such as perfume, cosmetics, children’s toys, souvenirs, rugs etc. However, she lacks the necessary funds to stock merchandise. This is why Sham’igul has applied for a loan. She plans to use part of her loan to buy merchandise, and the rest to buy the necessary equipment for her new store. Thanks to this loan she will launch a new business and have work for herself and her sons.
