A loan of $1,625 helped to pay for her degree title in business management.

Carolina's story

Carolina is 20 years old and single. She was born in the town of Minero, in the Obispo Santisteban province of Santa Cruz department, Bolivia.

Carolina currently lives with her parents and is studying for a degree in business administration. She says that, due to family problems, her parents have financial difficulties and so do not have enough money to continue paying for Carolina's studies. Given that her greatest desire in life is to have a profession and in the future to support her parents financially and to do better in life, Carolina has applied for a loan in order to finish her studies.

Carolina is convinced that, on finishing her degree, she will be able to enter the labour market as a professional and that this will give her financial stability. Her dream is to be a part of a large company here in Bolivia, and to continue studying in order to specialise.

Carolina believes that what differentiates her from others is her perseverance in achieving her goals (such as finishing her degree) in spite of the obstacles on her path (such as financial ones).

Carolina is very grateful to those who help others and feels like a winner just knowing that she is being given the opportunity to finish her studies and achieve one of her biggest dreams and aims.
