Kheng's story

Mrs. Kheng C., 48, started her grocery selling over one year ago out of her home in the area of Taskor Village. She currently earns approximately US$ 3 each day. She cares for five children, two of whom are working, and one other is married and living separately.

Her husband, Mr. Hok Luy, 47, is a fisherman. Recently, C. sold groceries till her store was empty and she wants re-stock the store. Hence she has decided to ask for a loan of US$ 500 to purchase more groceries to sell. They all live in Sarikakao Commune, Kandal Province. The loan will help to increase their revenue to adequately support the family.
