A loan of $600 helped purchase more "pagnes" and rent a store.

Akos's story

Akos N., 22, is an ambulant salesperson in Womé, a village situated about 130 km from Lomé, the capital of Togo. Akos is single and she has been selling "pagnes" (brightly colored lengths of African cloth that are used as sarongs, head wraps etc.) for almost 2 years. She would like to use this loan to grow her business by buying more "pagnes" and also to rent a store where she could display her wares.
