Omara Del Socorro's story

In a small stall located at the entrance to the market, covered in all kinds of clothing in bright colors is where Omara has been selling her clothing for the past three years. She is 34 years old, married and mother to two children aged 4 and 14. She feels proud of them, watching them go to school without any problems. She only manged to finish her High schooling due to economic problems. Since she was very young Omara helped her mother in an establishment that sold clothing. Then she got married and with her husband's poor sales of soft drinks, she started to sell antique paper money to be able to buy her own place to sell clothing. Little by little her business grew and now she has decided to sell rechargeable telephone cards to make more income as her husband doesn't always help her. Now she needs a loan to buy t-shirts, underwear and socks to add variety to her merchandise. Her goal is to look for innovative clothing items to offer a better and more economical product.
