Zulfiniso's story

The woman in the picture is named Zulfiniso. She is 32. She is married. For six years, Zulfiniso has been raising cattle from her home. She learned how to do this on her own. In Tajikistan, 60% of the population works in agriculture, including raising livestock. Her husband helps her feed, water and care for the cattle. Zulfiniso has completely mastered this work and it has begun to be a significant source of income. Zulfiniso now wants to expand her business and has taken out a loan with which she intends to buy a few calves. She will increase the number of cattle she has and thereby increase the profitability of the business.
