Ahla Haia Group's story

Ahla Haia is a group which is comprised of six women who live in Sana'a, Yemen. They applied for a loan of 180,000 YER from AMB.

Hayat is the leader of the group. She is a 31-year-old married woman with five children. Her oldest child is 19 years old and the youngest one is 9 years old. She completed elementary education, but she couldn't complete her studies. Her husband is employed as a soldier, and she works as a housewife, living with her family in their own house. Her husband is the sole breadwinner of the family. His salary is not enough to cover all the expenses of the family. Hayat decided to help him in the expenses of the house. Their house lacks many food materials. For this reason, she applied for a loan of 30,000 YER from AMB in order to purchase food materials for her house.

Hayat looks forward to preparing her house with all kinds of foods materials in order to save for a secure future for her family.
