Víctor Augusto's story

Victor is the oldest of two children and lives in Cochabamba Department in Bolivia. His mother is a teacher and his father has a small auto body repair shop. Victor is an industrial machinery technician and currently works as a lathe operator. He considers himself a studious, hardworking, and tenacious person, and therefore wants to continue his studies and advance his career.

Victor noted that his family's financial problems have prevented him from enrolling in a university. He is therefore applying for a student loan so that he'll be able to pursue an Electromechanical Engineering program that will add to his current knowledge and experience. Victor's ambition is to move into a better job at the company where he now works. A better job would improve his situation and allow him to contribute financially to his family's household. With such a job, Victor could support his parents and sister.
