A loan of $4,475 helped a member to purchase vegetables, fruit, various cleaning products, and other supplies for sale.

La Victoria Group's story

The La Victoria group is in its 6th loan cycle in the program of women's committees. It is from the city of Concepción, which is in an area a bit far from the capital and is still developing. It is an area difficult to access, so the members of this group want to fight to develop and give the area where they live a better atmosphere.

Maria is one of the members. She works as a storekeeper and in the afternoons she has a food cart where she sell food in the evenings. She is a very hard-working woman and, above all, determined and self-sacrificing.

She asks for this loan to be able to invest it in the purchase of vegetables, fruits, cleaning products, and others to be able to stock her shop and in this way be able to continue working as she has been doing.

In this group: Angelina, Maria, Rafaela, Felipa, Monica, Maria, Herminia, Pabla, Viviana, Ramona, Maria, Gloria, Maria, Mirian
