Elisa Raquel's story

Elisa is an enterprising women, she is 31 years old, a single mother, and lives in Ica with her family. As a single mother, she had to look for a way to get ahead alone, to be able to provide a better future for her child. However, this was not an impediment. For the past few years, she has worked in various farms in the Inca region and it is going very well for her since she is very responsible, hard-working, honest and has a strong desire to get ahead. Elisa is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because, with the support that they have offered her, she will be able to purchase a washing machine to open a small laundromat business, and with this get additional income, which she will be able to save so in the future she can achieve her biggest dream: to have her own house.
