A loan of $200 helped to buy medicine and carry out lab tests.

Elda Nadina's story

Elda Nadina is a young 24 year old woman, originally from the Los Zarzales community in the municipality of El Jicaral, a small village situated on the edge of the road, away from the bustle of the city.

With the great effort of her mother, who was left to raise her and her brothers by herself, Elda managed to train as an elementary school teacher. For the last three years, she has carried out this profession in a small school in the Mojarras community. She does so with great effort and despite obstacles like not having vehicular access to her workplace in the winter and having to leave behind her two year-old daughter when she goes to work.

Elda realized from some coworkers that in Ceprodel they grant loans to people of with scarce resources, with funds from foreign investors called Kiva, and her current situation is such that she needs from a helping hand. Her little daughter is sick and she does not count with the necessary resources to take her daughter to a private clinic where she can receive the necessary medical attention.

The loan she requests is to buy medicine, and carry out lab tests with the goal of improving her daughter's health.

She hopes and trusts in God that she will be helped.
