Grace is a forty five year old woman, married with four children living in Bundibugyo, Uganda. Due to hard conditions of living, Grace was unable to take care of the daily expenses of her family so she decided to start a small shop around her home area to meet at least a few basic needs from the profits generated in the shop. Like any small upcoming business, she is challenged by high transport costs and price fluctuations in the market. She is a hardworking mother who needs a loan to buy salt, sweets and sachet waragi to sell.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda.
