A loan of $375 helped to begin a little business of selling soft drinks and candies.

Ethel Marilyn's story

Ethel is an entrepreneurial young woman. She is 20 years old and lives in Chincha with her family.

She has two little children who are her great pride and for whom she works unconditionally to be able to offer them a better future and a good education.

For almost a year she has worked as a cook's assistant in a restaurant, and it is going very well for her because she is a very responsible, hard-working, and honest person.

Ethel is grateful to the Kiva lenders because with the help that they have offered her she will be able to set up a small business to sell soft drinks and candies. In this way she will have an additional income that she can use to furnish her house and improve her quality of life.
