Wullamatu's story

Meet Wullamatu, a 20-year-old single woman from Waterloo2 Western rural in Freetown, Sierra Leone. In 2010, Wullamatu established her fresh egg business to empower herself and take care of her family. She works at the business from 8:00 am until 5:30 pm, six days per week. She says her main challenges are price inflation and business location.

Wullamatu requires a loan in order to purchase more cartons of fresh eggs to expand her enterprise. She hopes that the extra income resulting from this loan will enable her to improve her standard of living and increase her business. In the future, she plans upon further expansion.
