A loan of $400 helped to buy corn, cheese, plastic bags, and lime powder.

Dolores's story

Dolores is a single mother of 3 children, none of whom are in her care. She has been earning a living by preparing and selling tamales in one of the markets in the city of Leon for 32 years. She begins preparing the tamales at 1 pm and finishes up at 6 pm. The next day, she goes to her stall to sell the food from 5:30 am until 4 pm. She has the same schedule from Monday through Sunday. She does this work to provide for her home.

Dolores has requested a loan from Ceprodel to use to buy products such as corn, cheese, plastic bags, and lime powder in bulk in order to buy at better prices for her tamales business, and therefore enjoy greater sales and earnings which will allow her and her family to have a better quality of life.
