Kevin lives in Lima together with his mother and her siblings. His parents are separated and his father hasn't provided any economic support since he left.

Kevin is an only child and helps his mother in her small business renting lights for parties, which is the only source of direct family income. His aunts and uncles do help with household expenses, but are unable to support him with tuition costs.

His mother's business is event-based, so the income from it is sporadic and isn't enough to pay for Kevin's course of study in the institute. Without relying on the help of Kiva lenders, he will soon have to leave it to begin working.

Kevin would like to thank Kiva lenders in advance for any help he can receive, which will help him fulfill his dream of finishing his career in mechanical design and having a future working on what he likes so much.

He would like to tell Kiva lenders that he feels blessed with the opportunity to be helped by them and that he will not defraud them, that he will study very hard to finish his degree and be a good man for society.

More information about this loan

This loan is structured on as a bullet-loan, or featuring only a single payment at the end of the loan term. Kiva's partner IPFE offers students an optional grace period and flexible repayment schedule, as their capacity to repay is limited and often unpredictable during the course of their studies. This means that although this student client is likely to make a number of small, gradual repayments over the course of his or her loan term, Kiva and IPFE are unable to project when exactly these will occur. Therefore, although these payments have not been factored into the repayment plan on Kiva, you will likely be reimbursed for a portion of this loan before the bullet payment at the end of the loan term.

About IPFE:
