Kigunda Abeteraine Group's story

Serina is a 42-year-old, married lady living in Kagadi-Uganda with two children attending school. She sells produce like beans, maize and ground nuts, and does farming to improve her household income and to educate her children. She hopes to grow her business and educate her children despite poor transportion causing delays in delivery of goods to customers. Serina is requesting a loan to buy maize and beans for selling. She is a member of Kigunda Abeteraine Group where each member guarantees the other to get a loan since they don’t pledge securities.
