A loan of $1,000 helped to buy barbed wire and improve the fences.

William Elias's story

William is known in the area for being honorable and hard-working. Since he was small, he has done farm and ranching work, since he has his own parcel where he grows his crops and maintains his small herd of cattle. He is very dedicated to his work, which is where he obtains his income to support his family. He is asking for the loan to buy barbed wire and staples and to pay for labor to repair fences and improve his property. He needs the loan because if he does not repair the fences the cattle will cross from one pasture to another and through the parts where he has planted his bananas and other crops. It is a priority for William to maintain his farm that is his means of production, and he can only succeed in doing it with the help of this loan.
