Maria's story

The member, María, belongs to the "Kimoyganakera Maganiroigi" communal bank. The bank is located in the Echarate district, which is part of the province of La Convención and the department of Cusco.

María earns her living running a grocery store. She sells basic everyday products like rice, sugar, milk, and cookies. She works from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. She has had this business for five years and it is going very well for her. Her dream is to expand the grocery store. She is requesting the loan to buy rice, sugar, milk, and cookies.

The member would like to be able to continue working so that she can support her family. This loan is part of one of Asociación Arariwa's lines of credit, called Credi Yapa. This line of credit is granted to borrowers with a good credit record.

María is happy about the loan and she promises to make her loan payments.
