A loan of $800 helped a member buy shoes.

Jesukpego Group's story

Jesukpego is a group of three persons, whose members live in the same neighborhood. The representative for the group, Rosine (whose hand is raised in the photo), is 36 years old and is married to Arnaud.

The couple has three children, all in school and who are their dependents. Rosine did not attend school herself. She lives with her children and husband and manages with him the various household expenses.

For nearly five years, Rosine has been selling shoes from her home. She resupplies in Benin.

Rosine and the other members of the Jesukpego group are seeking financial support from ALIDé to strengthen their working capital and their business, to better meet their customers' demands.
