Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $375 helped to buy bedroom furniture.

Tania Del Rosario's story

Tania is an enterprising young woman; she is 18 years old, single, and lives in Guadalupe with her family.

She is currently pursuing a degree in biology and she has been teaching private classes for children for two years. It is going very well for her because she is a very hardworking person with a great desire to better herself and above all because she wants to contribute to her students becoming excellent professionals.

Tania is thankful to Kiva's lenders because, with the support they have offered her, she will be able to buy herself bedroom furniture so she can rest better and keep giving her classes as she has up until now and keep applying herself to achieve her greatest dream: "To be an excellent professional."
