Shahida's story

Shahida is a 46-year-old married woman and a mother of five. She is a hardworking mother who is helping her family by providing tailoring services in her community.

She has been doing this for the past seven years. She knows very well the techniques of stitching. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. Shahida earns enough to lead a decent life.

To help her continue the operation of her business, she requested a loan of 40,000 PKR to buy a stock of threads in different colors along with packs of zippers, buttons, and laces to meet with the increasing demand.

In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
