Baye Modou's story

Baye Modou is a 19-year old man who has been working as a farmer for two years. This is the first time that he is seeking a loan in order to buy seeds and fertilizers to be able to grow crops and support his family since he is married and has one child. Baye Modou lives with his parents and together with his brothers, who live in the same house, provides for household expenses. Thanks to the revenues from his business, he will be able to provide for household needs and improve his family's life conditions at least to some extent.

However, Baye Modou aspires to have a roof one day and to maximize his profits doing something other than agriculture, such as cattle and sheep breeding. He would also like to open a store that sells grains.
