A loan of $725 helped to pay for school tuition and to buy a new computer for her youngest daughter.


Dung's story

Dung comes from in Bac Ninh province. In this picture, Dung was standing next to her daughter. Dung is married and has three children.

Dung and her husband are farmers. Her family's total income is VND 6,000,000 per month.

Because of her financial shortage, Dung is applying for a VND 15,300,000 loan through SEDA to pay for school tuition and to buy a new computer for her youngest daughter, Phuong.

In this picture, Phuong is standing next to her mother. She is a good student at secondary school. Without this loan, Phuong may be late for the tuition fee installment and may lack school materials which support her a lot in studying.

Phuong dreams of becoming a good politician who can contribute to developing the economy of Vietnam. After studying at school, she spends time helping her parents with housework.

Phuong and her mother would like to thank all donors around the world who have contributed to this program. This program has supported a lot of Phuong's education and the education of the Vietnamese generation, in general.
