Myness's story

Myness is a 23-year-old businesswoman and a mother of one.

She lives in the Gokwe North District of Zimbabwe where she has been operating a poultry business for six months now. She started the business to increase her monthly income. She produces 100 birds every six weeks and is very pleased with how far she has come. Myness also volunteers as a Camfed Learner Guide, teaching life skills at the local secondary school.

With the requested Kiva loan, Myness intends to purchase stocks of feed, vaccines, and chicks. She also intends to use the proceeds from the business to build a bigger fowl run, so that she can increase production.
