A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase seasonal women's and children's clothing for resale.

Mijgona's story

Mijgona is a businesswoman who lives in Dushanbe, the capital city. At 27 she is married and has a son, a daughter, and her own retail business. In 2009 she began to sell clothing and has been running her business from home for five years. She sells women's and children's clothing. Her customers are her neighbors, relatives, acquaintances, friends, and so forth. Her clothing quickly sells out because she knows a lot about clothes and only buys high-quality, comfortable items. Now she needs a loan to purchase new seasonal clothing for women and children. This loan is important to her so that she can keep up her business.
