A loan of $2,000 helped to resell flatbread and partially to repair her house in order to improve living conditions.

Sunavar's story

Sunavar is a seller at a local market of her district of Vakhsh. She is a 50-year-old widow with two sons and three daughters. Sunavar started her small business of selling Tajik flatbread eight years ago. She buys flatbread wholesale from local bakers and then resells it at a retail price at her retail outlet. Her product is always in demand because flatbread is the main staple on the Tajik table. Thanks to her business, Sunavar is able to support and provide for her family. Sunavar is now requesting a loan to increase her product turnover and use the remaining amount of the loan to make long-awaited repairs at home. This loan is very important to her. She hopes for your empathy.
