A loan of $500 helped to buy pigs.

Jomaira Estefania's story

At 21 years old Estefanía is the single mother of a 3-year-old boy. Estefanía lives with her parents in the countryside. She makes a living by farming and raising small livestock. Estefanía raises pigs and works as a day laborer on a farm.

Estefanía is going to invest this loan to buy pigs in order to expand her business and move forward with her son because, as she says, she is both father and mother for her child and she is going to feed and educate him the best that she can.
