Ramatu's story

Meet Ramatu who is a 36-year-old from Moriba town Bo, which is in the southern area of Sierra Leone. She is married with three children. Some years ago, Ramatu established her clothing for resale business. She began her business because she wanted to educate her children. She works at the business eight hours per day and six days per week. She says her major business challenge is a transportation problem within her operations area. Ramatu requires a loan in order to purchase more clothing for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to educate her children and increase her business.
