Utulivu Group's story

Buganda, the president of the Utulivu Group, married a veterinary surgeon at the age of 47. A mother of nine children, who are all enrolled at school, she has worked as a travelling vendor in her town since 2010. She is requesting a new loan in order to purchase 20 litres of vegetable oil, one kilo of flour, one sack of charcoal and five kilos of sugar. Her goal for the future is to become an important trader. She would like to thank Hekima for the support they give to poor working women.
