A loan of $675 helped purchase cattle to raise and subsequently resell.

Vicenta's story

Vicenta is 40 years old and lives with her husband and 6 children. Until recently, she worked offering her efforts to the hard work of a brick factory, but she decided to start her own busines so that she could arrange her own schedule and attend to her children. About 6 months ago, she bought a cow that she raised and then sold to obtain funds to purchase pigs that she could sell at a higher price. Additionally, she has bought guinea pigs and is now increasing the size of the litter. These advancements encourage her to continue working this way and to get up every morning to cut the grass to feed her animals. Vicenta works because she wants her children to have a good education. She is requesting this loan to invest in the purchase of more cattle to subsequently resell.
