Sebastian's story

Sebastián M. G. is 56 years old, is married, and has 4 children, 3 of whom are married and living independently. His youngest daughter is in her 4th year studying law. His life companion is a homemaker and does not work outside the home. Don Sebastián’s intention is to continue helping his daughter with her studies and to have the satisfaction of seeing her attain her career. Other desires of his are to have a tailoring workshop with enough business to hire people who really need the work and who are determined in this moment of their lives to work through difficult situations. His workshop would be a way to help these people. He wants to move forward for his family, an idea he most wants to realize and which he keeps in mind to help him succeed.

Don Sebastián works as a tailor making suits and pants for men and women. He has worked in this business for 30 years. When he was young he attended classes in a nearby school and in the afternoon would go to work in a tailoring shop. Because of his parents’ economic situation, he had to discontinue his studies. But he continued in the sewing workshop with the idea that he could pay for his studies that way. And so he became a tailor and set up his own business in his house. With the financing he will invest in his workshop, little by little, and increase his production of different styles of suits. Another thing he needs to do is to buy an industrial sewing machine that produces work of a higher quality that would in turn bring in more customers.
