A loan of $5,100 helped a member to buy cosmetic products.

Fuente Para El Desarrollo 1, 2 & 8 Group's story

Juana is one of the members of the Fuente Para el Desarrollo (Font for Development) 1, 2 & 8. They are micro-business people who sell clothes, natural products, shoes, artisan crafts, etc. They are in the city of Samana, a tourist town in development. Their town is still rural but is a great natural escape, and these borrowers use this to sell their products to people visiting their town.

Juana is a single woman. She lives with her family in her simple and rural home structure. Juana is very excited to be receiving her 10th loan from Esperanza International. She has successfully paid off her previous loans and taken steps to grow her business. She started her business almost six years ago. She will invest her new loan in purchasing miscellaneous products like cosmetic and beauty products. She will use her earnings to re-invest in the business while she saves to have a successful and sustainable business. Juana thanks you for your support!
