Gabino's story

Gabino is 52 years old. He is common-law married and has a dependent child living at home in the Pucara district, a community with a hot climate. Its population is engaged in the trade of fruit, rice, and coffee. It's located in the province of Jaén which belongs to the Cajamarca region in the mountains of northern Peru.
He is a tradesman who buys and sells rice. He also buys the unhusked rice and coffee from growers in the region. He dries and processes them before selling them to different stores and nearby farms in his district. He has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternative for 2,600 Peruvian nuevos soles for the purchase of unhusked rice to sell at a higher price and generate more income for his family.
