A loan of $1,075 helped to buy electrical appliances (stove and fridge) and to buy furniture (for the living and dining rooms).

Jennifer Roxana's story

Jennifer is an enterprising woman; she is 24 years old, separated and lives in Ucayali with her parents and son.

Being a single mother, Jennifer has to help her son to get ahead alone, and make a lot of effort and put in a lot of dedication in order to prosper.

For over three years, Jennifer has made a living selling red meat at the market. She has really been doing this work since she was a teenager as her mother previously owned the stall. At night, Jennifer is studying at a local university. Jennifer is a clear example of somebody who is doing well; she wants to help her family to prosper and to improve her quality of life.

Jennifer is very grateful to Kiva investors as, thanks to their support, she will be able to buy electrical appliances (stove and fridge) and to buy furniture (for the living and dining rooms) in order to improve her and her family's quality of life. With these items, Jennifer will continue putting in the effort so that her son may have the best possible life.
