Caroline's story

Caroline is a married woman with three children ranging in age from three to twelve years. When asked, she describes herself as independent.

For the past five years Caroline has sold fruits and vegetables to locals at a market. She says her biggest business challenge is theft.

This will be Caroline’s first loan with SMEP. She is applying for a 20,000 KES loan to buy additional fruits and vegetables to sell. She hopes that in the future she will see her business expand.
