A loan of $325 helped to buy wax, wire, coloring, paper and plastic.

Alicia Del Carmen's story

Alicia lives with her husband. Their children are already on their own. Out of the need to contribute financially to pay for different household expenses, 35 years ago she started her own business. It is making and selling artificial flowers as well as natural flowers, depending on the season. She works every day in the town market.

With the loan, she will stock up on her inventory of the basic materials she needs to make the different flowers that she sells. She will buy wax, wire, coloring, paper and plastic. She will limit it to buying what she needs to work and be able to pay her acquired debt off as soon as possible.

Her goal is to have a good credit history to continue progressing through the loans and have a better style of life with her husband.
