Nohelia Esperanza's story

Nohelia’s smile shows how happy her work as a teacher in rural schools makes her. She has been doing this for six years, and for her is nice to know that she can help in the education of somebody else. The kindness and hardworking spirit of this woman have made her grow in her professional life. After getting her degree at a technical school, she has worked hard and now she is a supervisor at the local Ministry of Education. In spite of being a single mother, she has always made her two children, ages 12 and 15, attend to school. She believes that education is the mean by which people can get ahead in life, reach their goals, become professionals and help the society. Nohelia has always taken care of other people. Now she would like to invest in her own quality of life, since she doesn’t have proper sanitary facilities or hygienic service in her kitchen. This is why she needs a loan to improve the hygienic services and housing conditions, by building a room and optimizing the kitchen. Among her plans, she wants to keep supporting her children to succeed, improve their quality of life and keep helping other people.
