Princess's story

Princess is a 19-year-old member of Cama living in the Nkayi District of Zimbabwe. She has been running a grocery business in her area for the past 18 months. She sells sugar, cooking oil, cereals and soup thickeners, as well as drinks. She is an area vice Cama chairwoman who organizes Cama activities. She is also a Camfed Learner Guide who facilitates sessions on well-being in schools.

She will use the requested Kiva loan to expand her business by purchasing more groceries at lower costs from wholesalers to sell at favorable prices to attract more customers. She will use the profits to further her education and provide for her family.
