Enia's story

Enia is married and lives in the Chikomba East District of Zimbabwe. She volunteers her time as a Learner Guide, working with schools to improve young people’s lives through teaching them valuable study and life skills.

To support herself, Enia runs a poultry project in her community, selling broiler chickens. She wants to grow her poultry business to meet the rising demand for poultry in her community, but a lack of capital has hindered her ability to expand. Enia is seeking a Kiva loan so that she can buy more chicks, chemicals and feed to increase her stock of broiler chicks and generate more revenue.

An increase in profits will help her to improve her standard of living and contribute positively to her community.
